We're going to need to have LO's 1st birthday party out somewhere mainly because our families are pretty big and we wouldn't be able to fit everyone in our house. I'd like somewhere that we can bring our own food but that has tables and chairs and ideally a small kitchen/prep area we can use.
We likely won't have more than a handful of small kids attending so it doesn't have to be that kid friendly, but having some space for them to run around would be a bonus.
Somewhere in/near Bethesda or Rockville would be awesome, but we'll go farther out if it's a good spot. TIA for suggestions!
Re: Indoor places for 1st b-day party with only a couple kids?
your HOA may have a building specifically for such a purpose. If not, fire houses have them.
Cabin John Park has a nice party room that is $125 for two hours. The train isn't running in the winter so the kids couldn't ride it but the room is pretty nice and accomodates up to 50 people.
