Just got back from my appointment and the DR said I am now 1 1/2 almost 2 cm dilated...she said my cervix has come way forward since last week and babys head seemed to be a little lower. She also said I am 80% effaced. This waiting around thing has been the hardest thing about being pregnant by far!

I had my 39 week appointment today too. I'm 3 cm, 70% and a 0 station. Sounds great but it's the same as I have been for the past month!  I've made absolutely no changes in the past 4 weeks, other than that my cervix is 'not as posterior'.  My midwife said that if I still haven't made any progress/ haven't had the baby by my 40 week appointment we're going to have to start thinking about induction. This is crazy to me considering at 33 weeks I went into preterm labor and was put on bed rest and now I may actually need to be induced!... crazy.

I am barely 1 cm and 'soft' for two weeks. I was really hoping for some progress before my induction on Monday... Oh well... Good luck to you.
