Vagina TMI

So I have been having some pain on both sides of my belly for a couple days but chalked it up to round ligament pain. Now, I am having this weird sensation in my vagina. It does not hurt or sting, but doesn't feel normal. I am 16 weeks. Any thoughts? Is this normal or should I call the doctor? TIA

It could possibly be a UTI, or a yeast infection.  If it persists or gets worse, it couldn't hurt to call your doctor.

I have randomly had a pain down there as well (almost nervie) but the doc said it was nothing to worry about, The baby can push on certain spots that trigger the pain. As long as you know what a UTI feels like and its not a pressure or urge to constantly pee than you should be fine.

My vagina has been hurting for the past couple of days when I do alot of walking. Its so annoying!

I remember with my first I had some zinging pains for a few seconds sometimes down there later in pregnancy.  Some people call it evil crotch pain.  It could be just that and how your baby is positioned.

This.  I have felt it too...sometimes it really sucks.

What does it feel like? I've felt almost a "vibrating" sensation that I chalked up to extra blood flow to the area. Also, if it's a "zinger", baby could be punching your cervix. Or, it could be the pelvic bones separating a bit.

Last week, I had a similar experience and ending up having a severe UTI. (read: hemmorhagic cystitis!) My belly was just sore, I chalked it up to RLP, even asked other girls I work with (& we're all nurses) and everyone agreed it was probably just from being on my feet so much. 7 days of Macrobid and I feel much much better! I'd call the doc just in case! Good luck!
