Gypsy Mothers?

Haha its a good story.....I just got back from my mother's today and she cornered me to tell me she had a dream that I gave birth to a baby boy.  I havnt told her yet that im pregnant, we are saving it for her birthday on November 10th, so I denied it the whole time. But she is convinced someone in the family is pregnant and she's confident it is me hahaha!! I cant wait to tell her now, I was so nervous before.  Has anyone else had a mother or family member with gypsy powers predict a pregancy?!

My mother-in-law is the same way. My husband and I tried for almost 4 years before becoming pregnant. About two weeks before we found out that we were finally successful, my mother-in-law had the notion that one of her kids was going to get pregnant with a girl baby. So she made a baby girl quilt. When we told her that we were pregnant, she went and got the quilt and handed it to us saying, "You are having a girl." Not only does she have the uncanny ability to know when someone is pregnant, she is usually dead on when it comes to the sex of the baby. It can be scary!

My sister had the dream before I knew I was expecting and decided it was someone else in the family because I have had no luck getting pregnant for 8 1/2 years.

My last visit home, my Dad gave me this "knowing glance", I guess you'd call it, and as we were packing up the car, tells me to "keep him informed".  I would have been 2ish weeks at that point, so even I didn't know.

My sister (who also has an 11/10 birthday - strange, huh?) told me about my pregnancy a week before I knew about it.  We didn't tell anyone that we were starting TTC.

My sister had a dream that I brought LO to a 4th of July barbeque.  She was annoyed because in the dream she couldn't see if the baby is a boy or girl - just that the baby was wearing a green onesie and sleeping in an adorable yellow and grey paisley-print stroller.

I argued that it would be 'a little soon' because I didn't think I was pregnant.  Mom chimed in, "Of course it's too soon, she wouldn't have a two-week-old at the barbeque."  I love that my mom thought *that* was the ridiculous part of the conversation.  She's worried about bringing the newborn into the summer heat and mosquitoes, totally not acknowledging that my sister is predicting the future.
