Last night I went to panera and got something that I thought was milk/soy free, but was not
SO sad bc we've been m/s free for over a month now, with no mess-ups and seen a big improvement in LO. It was a stressful situation bc we had company over who wanted to go out, and I already felt like I was being really difficult trying to find a restaurant, going through allergen lists online, etc. That's the thing-I even looked this product up online, but must have looked through the ingredient list so fast, I missed the *ahem* sour cream!!
Anywayyyys, so mom fail. And tonight LO had blood in her diaper. Do I need to call the pedi? I figured no bc they cant do anything about it, right? Do I need to do anything else? How long will it take till it's out of her system now? Any answers greatly appreciated...
Re: What do you do when you mess up?
Don't beat yourself up - it's really easy for this to happen. I'd maybe call the pedi just to see what they say, but you probably just have to let it get out of her system. Shouldn't take as long this time since she just got a little bit. Hang in there!

It was a mistake and it happens. To be honest, it might happen again down the line. It should pass pretty soon since it was a little bit from one meal. You might want to call to see if there is anything you can or need to give her.

i agree with pp... don't beat yourself up for it. being on a diet like this is HARD! i probably would pump and dump for a week or so if you can. it may take up to 4 weeks but i think the first week is the worst.
