I am new here after having a mc and d & c on oct 13th ;(
This has been, by far, the hardest thing I have had to go through. We are so excited to ttc again and Im counting the days until I hopefully get AF.
Few questions that Im sure have been asked millions of times:
1. how long did it take you to see AF?
2. When did your MD say you could start trying again?
I am hoping to start in the next month or so, just trying to get through this right now and being hopeful that I will be pregnant and carry a healthy baby to term again soon.... thanks!

I'm sorry for your loss, but welcome to the boards. The ladies here are very supportive and I've learned a lot from them.
As to your questions...
It took me about a month to see AF the first time. My OB told me I could start trying again after my first cycle. I think I've read several ladies here say they've been told to wait anywhere from the first cycle to 2-3.

For me, AF arrived 27 days after my D&C. I had thought it would take longer, but luckily not. However, she hung around for 9-10 days.
My dr. gave us the go ahead to TTC again after I got AF, so just one cycle.

Welcome to the board. I am very sorry for your loss.
My first AF came just shy of 5 weeks post complete natural m/c (the day I actually m/c'd). I was told to wait 2 cycles. I would definitely check with your doctor though as to what they want you to wait. Everyone is going to have a different answer based on their own situation. Some women get to go right away. I on the other hand are on cycle #7 of TTA. Definitely check with your doc.

I'm so sorry for your loss but welcome!!
For me, AF was almost right on time after all 4 of my m/c. Everyone is different though!
I've gotten variety of answers. Honestly I think its more when you are emotionally ready to move on. I had a CP the cycle before I got pg w/ my son.

Sorry for your loss. The ladies here are great and have really helped me.
1. AF arrived 28 days after my D&C but my cycles are still very irregular after 5 months.
2. My OB told me 1 cycle. Did your doctor tell you how long s/he wanted you to wait? It usually depends on how far along you were and if you miscarried naturally or not. I would stick to whatever your doctor told you.
I did NOT listen to my dr and started trying as soon as we got a negative hpt. I also had a d&c, and got a negative hpt 28 days later.
I ended up having a chemical pregnancy, and it was not worth the ignoring my dr.'s orders.
I was told to wait 2 cycles. So after my c/p, that's what we did.
I got pregnant the first try after that, but miscarried again.
Now I am waiting for AF once more.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
AF took me 5 weeks (just started today!).
I didn't get any word from the doc on when to TTC again so I'm just going with the flow.

As to your questions...I am still waiting for AF unforunately (I have had spotting only) and its been 11 weeks. My doc wants us to wait to TTC until I have a normal AF. I hope yours comes faster than mine. T&P to you.

A little late to respond, but my doc told us we could try after one cycle post miscarriage. We are going to wait for 2 cycles so we can try to heal (emotionally) from the recent losses.
AF arrived 4 weeks after my first D and C. Currently waiting for AF to return again.

AF arrived exactly 4 weeks after my m/c. My doctor told me I could start trying after the first AF. So we are going to TTC this cycle.

I am sorry about your loss and welcome to the board.
After my first loss I wasn't told any specific time and never got AF bc I got pg right away...only to miscarry again.
This time was told to wait one BCP medicated cycle. We are going to give it a go this month...we shall see.
