Happy Halloween ladies!  Just curious - have your REs tested your AMH, and what do they consider "normal"?  My RE tested my AMH and I had a result of 1.5 (31 years old). He told me this result is ok, and not a concern b/c my FSH and estradoil are normal and I responded well to clomid.  However, I just had a 2nd opinion visit and the 2nd RE said the AMH result is low for my age, and that it should be re-tested on day 3.  Just curious if anyone has experience with this test, and what they have been told about it.  TIA!

    My AMH was 1.12, which is on the lower end of normal for some labs. But, combined with high FSH and E2, and my age, I was DX with DOR.

    I responded well to injects last cycle (3 mature follies at CD9), but obviously didn't get pregnant. We don't know if it's an egg quality issue or just bad luck.

    A "normal" AMH is above 1; anything below that starts to be considered DOR; but the diagnosis should be combined with FSH and Antrile Follicle Count (sp?).

    AMH can be tested on any day of the cycle. Does not need to be CD3.  Yours may be a bit low for your age but if your other tests don't indicate DOR, I would not worry too much about it.  Anything over 1 is "ok".

    My RE told me 1-3 was normal and "ideal".  Mine is way high at 7.3, and she's very concerned about OHSS because of it.  Your number sounds great!

    mine is .81.  The nurse told me that this number was fine, but then I found this chart (advanced fertility.org), so needless to say I'm concerned: 

    Interpretation
    AMH Blood Level
    High (often PCOS)
    Over 3.0 ng/ml
    Normal
    Over 1.0 ng/ml
    Low Normal Range
    0.7 - 0.9 ng/ml
    Low
    0.3 - 0.6 ng/ml
    Very Low
    Less than 0.3 ng/ml

     1.5 seems perfectly normal based on this. 

    Us: 39(me)/41(he). TTC since April '11. DOR/MFI. March '12: surgery to remove fibroids, cysts, and endometriosis.
    IVF #1: 9/13/12. ER: 9/25. 3R, 2M, 1F. ET: 9/28 (1-6B). Beta: moved from 10/11 to 10/10: BFN.
    IVF #2: 11/12 cycle postponed due to Sandy and then cancelled due to elevated E2.
    IVF #2.1 cancelled due to cyst.
    IVF #2.2: 2/2/13. Converted to IUI. BFN
    IVF #3.0: 3/2014. BCP & Microdose Lupron.  Cycle cancelled due to poor response.

    I find out the results of mine tomorrow.  My RE went ahead and started me on a monitored clomid cycle while we finished up some testing.  I got the call today that all results are in, so we shall see.  I'll update with mine later.  FWIW, I will be 35 at the end of December.

    TTC started Oct '10
    Me: AMA w/RSD, atypical PCOS w/IR, LPD and High Prolactin. Controlled HP post-loss.
    DH: Low-T and borderline morph
    18 cycles, 3 medicated w/RE to get to a BFP!
    EDD 9/7/12, Saw HB @7w3d,missed m/c 1/30 @8w3d, d&c 2/8
    11 AL cycles, 9 medicated/IUI cycles. All BFFN!
    Moving forward with IVF
    BFP#2 our little cycle break surprise on AL cycle 12! EDD 10/27/13
    Beta #1: 41 Beta #2: 398; perfect u/s 3/11 hb @133bpm
    u/s 3/25 one perfect hb @183 bpm, adjusted EDD 10/23/13
    MaterniT21 and carrier screens normal. It's a girl!!!

    Thanks for the info ladies. Sounds like maybe mine is a bit low for my age, but still in the "normal" range.  I am going to get my levels (FSH, E2 & AMH) retested this Thurs., which is Day 3 just to make sure the other levels are still "normal".
