Need new lunch ideas for my 17 month old.....

I feel like I am feeding him the same thing everyday...and I know I would be bored with it if I were him....so give me some of your kiddos favorite lunches!

  • Lately DS has been favoring soup, stew and chili. I make large batches of soup on Sundays and freeze them in individual portions for DS.

    Leek and Potato

    Roasted Tomato and Basil

    Chicken and Rice

    Bean and Bacon

Chili: White Chicken Chili and normal Beef chili.

    Stew:

    Chicken & Vegetable Stew

    Beef Stew

    Lamb and Roasted Vegetable Stew

Today I thawed out some twice baked potatoes that I made ahead of time and he ate that for lunch.

This is us EXACTLY. PB&J for lunch and fish sticks for dinner. Tonight we're going to live a little and have some pasta for dinner.  I get tired of making him things that he won't eat. But we must expand his pallet. He used to be so good at eating everything. Its mostly a texture issue for him. Or how it feels when he picks it up.

This is almost exactly our lunch list. My only addition

Pizza (I make toddler size pizzas by toasting a whole wheat english muffin and topping with a little pizza sauce and cheese. Then either broil or microwave to melt cheese)

I also often use leftovers from supper the night before.
