Cough Drops

Can we have cough drops while pregnant?
UGH, can timing be worse?  I'm coming down with a cold. I'm a bit congested, and my throat is scratchy. My husband has a bad head cold, and I tried to hard to avoid it.. but it seems I'm getting it.
Can I just have some cough drops to ease the scratchy throat a bit, anyone know?

    most cough drops are just sugar and are fine.
