Seriously, I love this show but last nights episode was so heartwrenching, sad and very scary. It was about human trafficing, specifically involving young girls ages 11-16. It was mind blowing. I like to think that I am pretty aware of what goes on around us but I had no idea what a big problem this was. And, yound boys ages 6-9 are targets as well. I just can't stop thinking about it.
It's on the OWN network(o prah network) and it's on Sunday nights. It's really a great show that's documentary style and looks at major things that make up who we are.
I DVRed that one and haven't watched it yet, but I'm interested. I work with victims of sexual abuse and trafficking though, so while I bet it won't surprise me, I'm sure it will still be tragic.
I saw the two first episodes on Polygamy and Amature Porn and thought they were good. I wanted more on each though. Such big topics for only an hour!
I've watched a few and really liked it, but we have so many Sunday shows already that I haven't been able to set it to automatically record to our DVR. I'll have to look tonight and see if any are on demand.
