Back from exam...

Had my first internal today and it was totally fine. It didn't hurt and wasn't uncomfortable at all. Maybe since I already know what labor feels like this is a piece of cake!

Doc estimates baby being up to 7 pounds already, and I still have just under 4 weeks to go until due date! Good lord. It could be a 9 pounder. But that doesn't bother me, bigger babies are so cute and sleep better, ha! She thinks, though, that I will go early. His head is WAY low, and although I am not dilated yet, my cervix is thinned out and is very soft.

The best part about my exams is the hospital cafe! No joke. They make super nutritious but yummy wraps, soups, and salads. DH came to my appointment and then we had lunch. Yum!

Sounds like you will be meeting your LO early if you are already thinned out, etc.  Good luck!
