A couple of curveballs at my last U/S

On Friday during my 36 week ultrasound I found out baby is breech and my amniotic fluid level is abnormally low. Doctor is concerned my placenta is not working optimally and that the low fluid level may cause fetal distress. I am so relieved that LO is doing just fine.  He aced the stress test and everything checks out.

I am pretty much on modified bed rest at this point - no work, no exercise, no chores, no errands. I have to go in twice a week for an ultrasound and stress test. I'm already going stir crazy.

If I can successfully get my fluid level to a 10 and keep it there, we can talk about an external version to try to achieve the natural vaginal birth I had been hoping for.

Needless to say, I'm very disappointed by the fact that my chances for a natural birth have decreased significantly, but I am still hopeful, as I do have a few weeks left as long as LO continues to exhibit no signs of distress.
