Authentic San Diego baby clothes?

I want to buy my best friends son some outfits because she is always buying DD things but I want it to be something that you can only get out here (she lives on the east coast).  I know with the internet it's virtually impossible but any tips or ideas would be great. *tia*

The only thing I can think of would be specific location items:  a onesie from the Wind & Sea surf shop, a tie-dyed onesie from OB, or things like that.  I dont' know that we have such a specific "thing" that is truley SD.  I buy my east coast friends & family tie-dye & Hawaiian stuff, as that seems more "west coast" than they normally have.
