I have a food blog! Though im not sure it is the particular one you were looking for, lol! We started finger foods by offering them at lunch once they were about 9 months. After some practise they pretty much rejected all spoon feeding and were eating finger foods only by 10 months. Good luck!
don't know the blog... but after puffs, we started with some cut up banana (beacuse they love the banana puree, i figured they would hopefully like that), baby goldfish crackers, cheerios, cut up pancakes, broken up graham crackers, broken up chicken nuggets... stuff like that.
I tried bananas this morning and it seemed like they were too slimy for them to pick up. Will they get better with practice or did I cut them up too small? I cut them the size of Cheerios or a bit smaller. I'm terrified of them choking.
Re: Finger Foods
Thanks!
Mrs. Cam, yours wasn't the blog I was thinking of, but I will definitely check it out!
