Poor little lamb...teething.

Miles is definitely teething and has been for a couple of weeks but it's getting harder and harder on him.  Everyone said..."Oh he's too little to be teething..."  Uhm...apparently not.  His gums hurt so bad that he won't take a bottle unless you put Orajel on his gums first.  He can't suck his pacifier like he wants to at night for comfort.  He also has a cold and can't breathe very well out of his nose despite my efforts to suck the gunk out.

So I was up with him last night from 1am on.  DH took him to the sitter this morning so I could sleep in (called in sick) and I'm going to go snatch him up in a little bit.  This teething crap is hard...and I'm sure it's going to get worse before it gets better.  Sheesh!

But Lucy, don't worry, I wouldn't trade any of it for the world.  I'm just glad I got to sleep in today.  (I hadn't fully recovered from our 8 hour trip last weekend either...and he had a hard time all last weekend being out of his element...which meant Mommy had a hard time too.)

  • sounds like teething to me.  it's been a bear for us as well. eli has gotten (and is still getting) 6 teeth in one month.  it is a drool factory at our house.

  • Poor Miles!  I hope he starts to feel better soon and you both can get some rest.

  • Poor Miles!  My little guy busted out his first two teeth this past weekend.  Surprisingly, he wasn't terribly fussy, but he was a drool machine (still is).  I'm thinking I've totally lucked out and will be DOOMED with the next round of teeth.  Oy.
