Last night I went to a parent meeting at the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired. They had a guest speaker who knew all about Cortical Visual Impairment and with all this new knowledge and seeing other families who are in the same boat as us, made me feel a little better. I now know that they have a 90% chance to read, and a chance to have 90% of normal vision. I am so happy that there is something we can do- and they won't be blind- I have been so worried over if they would ever be able to see or not. I am so glad I found this wonderful-helpful place!
Re: I feel so much better....
It is GREAT that you were able to not only meet others in similar shoes but to gain even greater hope for the girls. They are beautiful! It is always a blessing to find those who are amongst us...
May the girls have beautiful vision in their future!
It is always so nice to meet with other families that are going through what you are going through.
I am glad to hear you feel a lot better.
