What are the craziest ones you have ever heard regarding pregnancy?

The women in my family would say you can't go around a newborn baby when you are on your period because it gets them sick.

on your period?!  LMAO!!  They do you realize you bleed after having a baby... right?  Should the mom stay away too?  LOL!!

Probably the craziest thing I have is heard is that my mom was going through the roof while my sis and I were pregnant - she had fibroids, so monthly u/s, and I was having problems, so I was having weekly, and she was FREAKING out that both of us were going to have deaf children becuase u/s damamge their hearing.

Riiiiiight mom.

my mil made me wear a safety pin when there was a eclipse.  she said the force of the eclipse could do harm to the baby, and the metal ward off those forces.

Pg women should not watch scary movies it will make them miscarry.

If you leave the house before you healed it will cause a set back.(meaning false labor)
