HCG level vent

12 days post D&C and HCG is at 46. I know this is actually pretty good, but after my last D&C I was already down to <5 at this point. Urg.

It's kinda sad that we get excited about HCG going down, isn't it? Mine finally went down to 0 but it felt like eternity to get there. I'm sorry it's taking so long. I know how frustrating it is.

I haven't been able to find any info on how much it should be decreasing. Who wants to share their numbers? Ideally, would love to know where you started and how much it was dropping per week. Thanks!

I read that just like they're supposed to double every 2 days when you're pregnant...they're supposed to halve every 2 days when you're miscarrying. It seemed about accurate for me. These were my numbers:

October 1 (day m/c started): 247 (so I was already extremely low for 7 weeks)

October 3: 99

October 10: 8

My m/c was on a Saturday and my doctor wanted me to come in the following Monday and then weekly after that to make sure it went down to 0. I was so mad that it was so close to 0 the third time...but not close enough since they said I still had to go in one more time after that. I was on vacation after that so the day I got back home I got to look forward to getting more bloodwork. So my last and final visit was on October 21 and I was 0. It probably hit 0 before that, but that's when it was confirmed.
