Going bra-less isn't so great anymore. :*(

I used to love coming home so I could rip my bra off and let the....uh..."girls"...be free.  Not so much these days!  They are soooo heavy.  They hurt in the bra, and hurt even worse out of the bra.  I've gone from a B to a D.  It would be nice if it was a permanent change...minus the searing pain. Confused

  • I've always had big boobs (been a 'D' since I was in the sixth grade) so I've always been more comfortable wearing a bra and have even always slept with one on but now since they are even bigger and way more sensitive it is just as uncomfortable to wear a bra as it is to not wear one I can't even imagine what it's going to be like once the milk comes in and they get even bigger and then having to wear bra's without underwire yikes =/

  • A "D" in the 6th grade?  I cannot imagine how hard that was for you to deal with, not just with the physical aspects, but with how insensitive other kids can be.

Some women have no growth, which would be good for a woman with a larger breast size.  I know from previous births that after my milk came in, my breasts were ridicoulously huge.  I don't look forward to that.

Yep. I was an early bloomer. I started my period when I was 9. It was especially hard because I was a huge tom-boy and my mom told me that it was because I was fat.

I'm hoping for that but if I take after my mom that will not be the case. She says that after her milk came in she had to wash her hands one at a time because they were so huge she couldn't reach around them lol.

  • Have you tried a nursing style sleep bra? They make some really soft comfy ones, or the Medela bra without the underwire is very comfortable and soft and supportive... It's normally $40 but you can get it online at buybuy baby (I don't know if they sell it in store, there aren't any around here) for $23. They have every size to! Mine went from a small B to a full C like 2 months in and now are up to a D so far and I was told to expect to go up 1 more size when my milk came in... the major comfort issues with them have been that the way DD sits makes it impossible to wear real underwire bras, and it's super uncomfy to wear even non-underwire for a entire day but so far the best has been that Medela bra... other then that I live in sleep bras or just a t-shirt (leaking is my biggest problem) Oh and sleeping has been awful for me because I'm not used to them being in the way when I lay on my side etc. Mine have been okay lately, they were excruciating a couple weeks ago, they felt like they would rip off my chest if I didn't constantly hold them :/ I agree... I'd love to keep the big ladies if I could have it without the discomfort, they sure do make shirts look better (well at least I noticed that more before my belly ballooned! haha)

  • I hear you on wishing the change was permanent!! I was always a B, then I had DS and became an A!!! Wth!! So depressing. Right now I'm a C...woohoo!!!!!!! I know it's only temporary, though I do know some people who somehow kept their bigger boobs after pregnancy/breastfeeding. I'm jealous.

I started as a C and am currently a D.  I told my husband that I would prefer to be one of the women who go backward in size.  I don't ever remember being an A, but the idea sounds lovely to me!

  • I love going without a bra.. its just hard now because of the leakage :(
