It seems like everyone is either getting induced, having their membranes stripped, c-sections scheduled OR having their LOs like right now!! Leaves me wondering if I'll be the last one left on this board...

A guy at work told me last week he was a "turkey baby".  I had to ask him to repeat it because I didn't know what the heck he said, lol.  His birthday is the day before Thanksgiving.  What a way for his mom to spend the holiday that year.  Someone would have to bring me a plate in the hospital with all the fixings, lol.

Well I am a FTM and due Nov. 13 so I could technically go as far as about Nov. 24 I am hoping it will be sooner rather than later though and my FI is really hoping for a Halloween baby.

Haha o my gosh that's what I said to FI the other day! This baby better either keep herself cooking till after Thanksgiving or come at least a week before! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because of all the food! I would die eating hospital food on Turkey day! ... well I'm due the 29th that's been the date since the beginning but the nurse was confusing me a few weeks ago when she said my 24wk us = edd of 12/7 yet I'm measuring on track with the 29th... so I guess technically I may go in December but everyone says I'm gonna be early probably around the 18th... which totally can't happen unless she waits until after 4am on the 18th because I'm going to see Breaking Dawn at midnight!!! Hahaha

Last year I was due Nov 27th and would hop onto the December board because it sucked having everyone due before me! We actually chose to have the c-section on the 22, knowing I'd still be in the hospital on Thanksgiving! I got to avoid all germy family gatherings, didn't have to feel guilty, and my mom brought me loads of leftovers that night

I'm due November 19 and according to the technician at my ultrasound yesterday, baby is not engaged yet and seems perfectly content where he/she is.  My doctor said I still have a solid two weeks (probably more) ahead of me so having a Thanksgiving baby is very likely. 

I'm content with baby baking as long as he/she needs to, but I'd hate to miss the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade and all the wonderful food.  Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday as well.  Oh well, I guess we'll have to DVR the parade and make all the fixings another day.  It's all up to baby!

I'm due 11/29 but I've been measuring ahead so the doctor's just tell me to be fully prepared to give birth around Thanksgiving.  I'll be fully prepared on Nov 10th when the car seat is installed in both cars...she can come that night anytime after 7:30pm!

Yes, Nov. 22nd here.  I think we have a pretty good shot at a Thanksgiving baby considering most first time moms go late.

im due 11/14 and i don't feel labor any time soon. as of right now, my baby is breech, if i have to schedule a c section it won't be until my due date...im planning to be around

With my son, I was due at the end of August (the 24th I think)... He was 11 days late and born in September.  There was literally no one else left on the board and it was so discouraging!  I know just how you feel.... hang in there!

I'm due the 9th, and I think I'll make it to my due date! I feel like a lot of the girls that have gone early have mostly had complications - it seems like there have bee a lot of placental abruptions?

I am a FTM and am due November 27th.  I am hoping he waits till the week of Thanksgiving at least.  I am currently in school and commute an hour plus each way so I would prefer he not try and come when I am making my drive .

I am due on Thanksgiving too.  I REALLY want him to come a little early because I do not want to spend the holiday in the hospital.  I love food to much haha.

THAT is hilarious!!!  I can't wait to see Breaking Dawn either.  My 15 year old daughter is pleading with me to let her see it.  I just can't get past the...er...EPIC...sex scene!  I mean dude breaks the headboard!  I had to cross MY legs when I saw that. LOL!!!!!

I'm due on 11/27 and I still haven't even had my first internal exam yet so I have no clue how I'm cooking but my entire pregnancy I have had a gut feeling he's going to be late and be a December baby like his daddy. I think I'll be patient all the way until Thanksgiving because I love that holiday so much but once that Thursday passes I'm going to be ready to get him the heck out of there!

I'm due 11/23 so I'm right there with you.  Not even full term yet, won't schedule an induction till December if it comes down to that.  No internals yet, no membrane stripping yet.  Basically nothing happening yet!

FTM here, due on 11/21.  I'm certainly hoping to still be pregnant when November rolls around!  (Although I am full-term on Halloween.)  I'm defnitely not going to visit the family this Thanksgiving, whether or not the baby's here yet- I'm not sitting in traffic for two hours each way with a newborn, or when I'm past my due date...  But since we're not *that* close to the hospital, I really hope I don't end up having to go to the hospital on Thanksgiving day for that same reason!

I'm due the 21st and I've had a really strong feeling that he'll be born on turkey day from the get go.  Someone BEST bring me my dinner!  That meal is my all time favorite meal on earth!

I'm due on the 29th. I'm mostly on the Dec. board, I understand that as a FTM there's a good chance I could go over. I hope not! If he wants to show his little face at 37 weeks, I would be just fine with that!

Haha oh my god I KNOW!!! It's crazy... how incredibly weird would it be if I went into labor when Bella did? Like triggered it or something haha that would be a story! I don't know if you read any of my posts before but because of being 9 months pg the theater is going to have an usher escort myself, FI and my mom in right before the handicap seats so I can leave in a hurry if I need to!! Haha 

 

Thanks everyone! It's nice to hear that there's hope for some last minute Nov LO's! It's true most the recent birth's have had there fair share of complications but most all have had a happy ending! It's going to be strange to switch over to what the 0-3 month board? Is that where everyone is going to go once their settled with their LO?
