I'm not sure when to join this board.

So I will make a quick introduction, just to say hi and tell you a little about me.  Kyndal was born sleeping on October 12 due to a chord issue. DH and I are lost emotionally and aren't really sure when a good time to start trying again will be.  We both want more children, fast, but we don't want to feel like we're replacing Kyndal. Our doctor asked us to wait 6-8 weeks to start trying again. I'm assuming she means from the day we spoke? Chances of me getting pregnant are kind of slim (he's gone two weeks at a time) If you ladies have any sort of advice, I would love to hear it. Good luck to you all! I hope to see a lot of BFPs while I'm here!

First, I am so so sorry for your loss.  Your desire to immediately want more children is normal and part of the grieving process.  Just make sure to let your body heal, and more importantly let you and your DH emotionally heal before TTC again.  Only you can decide when that is but the 6-8 week will definitely help with that.  Also, Dr.'s usually mean 6-8 weeks post loss before TTC, but they'll usually do a follow up of some kind before that as well, to make sure you're doing well physically and emotionally.

You are more than welcome to join this board whenever you feel ready to, the ladies here are very welcoming and supportive.  However, there is a Miscarriage/Pregnancy loss board as well, a lot of people here post in both places, but the reason for the two separate boards is that TTC subjects can be touchy for those who just experienced a loss.  So post wherever you feel most comfortable, but you're always welcome here.

Ruthy I lurk on BOTB and my heart absolutely breaks for you. I'm sorry that you have to be a part of this board.. It is a group of amazing women though and I hope that you feel comfortable and welcomed here.

As for trying again that is a decision that you and your husband need to make. Take your doctors orders and see how you feel after those 6-8 weeks. No matter what Kyndal will not be replaced, she can never be replaced. ((hugs))

I am so so so sorry that you had to say goodbye to your beautiful sweet little Kyndal. Your story absolutely breaks my heart. I read through your blog and could not help crying.  I don't have any advice except what other ladies have mentioned... that you cannot and will not replace Kyndal and do not need to feel like having another LO is trying to do this. You need to take a some time for your body and heart to heal but only you will know when you are ready to try again. Kyndal knows how much you love her and will be ready to be a big angel sister the minute you are ready to make her one.  You and your family will be in my prayers.
