So had a good meet and greet! We are going to do a needle biopsy using the mammogram machine. Should be interesting. We can't schedule the biopsy until Wednesday. The scheduler is out of town. Thanks again for all the kind emails and post! You ladies rock!

So you'll schedule the biopsy on Wednesday?  How quickly do they do them?  Like if they schedule it will it be for Thursday or next week or a month from now?  How are you holding up with all the waiting?

Thinking of you! I have had a needle biopsy (not with the mamagram though) and it was not bad. Hoping you can get this scheduled and get through it quickly.

Michelle they said most likely it will be next week. Dr. Corgan told me to tell the scheduler I am a wreck so hopefully she will get me in quick! I know they said it is all going to be ok, but just want it over with fast! I am keeping busy, but also sleeping a lot! I am dealing with Kate and school stuff so that is also stressing me out! I hate the school system!

My mom had a needle biopsy last year. Hers was with an ultrasound though. The anxiety was much worse than the procedure itself {she says}, I got to go in the room and hold her hand. Thinking of you. Thank goodness for valium.

I had a core biopsy 10 yrs ago using ultrasound.  The procedure itself was a piece of cake, especially after all the lead up.  With the valium, you honestly might not even remember it.
