  • Don't know for sure, but I would think this could be just a normal anatomical variant.  If there's a large difference between them, maybe that's uncommon, but I would think it's likely not that unusual.  After all, boobs and feet can be slightly different sizes!

  • I'm not sure what it means either. When I went in for my HSG, my left ovary was right next to my ute where it should be. My right ovary, though, was way far away, like it was off in it's own little world. My doctor said it was normal, though, and everything looked good. I know it's not the same situation as your's, but I would bet small abnormalities here and there are "normal". I hope you can get a hold of your doctor soon.

I had an u/s for cysts about 5 years ago & found that mine were different sizes as well. It was a pretty big difference, but not like twice the size. I was told its normal. I had long suspected that 9 times out of 10 my right ovary ovulated since I rarely get O pain on the left, & the u/s showed my right ovary was bigger so maybe that's why? Not everything is perfectly symmetrical in the human body, including organs. I guess it would depend on the size difference though.
