Early Signs of Labor????

Okay, so the past couple of days I've been just feeling terrible. A Little crampy and VERY tired. I keep asking my hubby if it looks like I've dropped yet and he has no idea. Every time I get up from bed or from sitting a long time my pelvic area hurts really bad. It's like a really deep joint pain almost. NOT comfortable at all! Also every time I go to the bathroom, right after I wipe and stand up I have to wait a couple of seconds because almost every time I have a whitish discharge that starts to come out and I end up having to wipe a couple extra times. The discharge seems to be coming more and more. Is this maybe my mucus plug? I just don't feel right and it's probably normal I just wanted to ask you ladies. Thanks

How far along are you?

Sounds like your mucus plug is starting to come out.  However, that does not mean anything.  It can grow back.  I started to lose mine last Tuesday, and have lost some of it each day.  Friday I started having what they call "bloody show" which is the mucus-y discharge with pink streaks.  I've had crazy contractions and major cramps since Thursday.  Started feeling the tiredness come on Friday, which I still feel today, however I'm not sure if that is a sign of labor or not.  I have defiantly dropped and you sound like maybe you have too due to all the pelvic pain/pressure.  Just keep an eye on your contractions.  My doctor said that if they are coming every 5 minutes or less to go to L&D -- or of course if my water breaks.

All sounds pretty much normal. Definitely wouldn't consider it early signs of labor. Just sounds like a normal pregnancy. It's hard to tell whether the discharge is mucus plug or not because discharge is pretty normal in 3rd trimester anyway, but even if it is the mucus plug, it doesn't really mean anything.

I've been feeling this same way for over a week now, and it looks like I'll be making my induction tomorrow morning!

It sounds pretty normal, especially at this point in pregnancy. The discharge definitely sounds like it's your MP, but it doesn't really mean much. Mine has been coming out for over a week now.

I have the same issues but I think it's just your body getting ready for labor and not necessarily signs of labor.  My midwife told me that the discharge will continue to increase daily until delivery and if it's not blood tinged, it's not the bloody show/mucus plug - just normal discharge.  It's be more tired at this point since we're not getting great sleep. I've been having menstral like cramps for the past week or so but there's no predictable rhythm so it's just false labor.

I have felt that way about a week, I have dropped, but I still do not expect to go into early labor.  DH thinks I will.

The discharge is totally normal.  I'm due in less than 3 weeks and I get that too.  It's not your mucous plug - just vaginal discharge.
