Can I boil...

GroVia organic cotton soaker pads? I have a few AI2s but I bought them used. My CD store gave me a new shell to try to I bought the set of 2 soaker pads and I was wondering if I can boil them instead of washing them 5-6 times. If so, for how long. I was hesitant to boil them because it has the two plastic buttons on each end. TIA

    I wouldn't. They also have a hidden PUL lining. FWIW, I washed mine 1x and then put it otb, it was plenty absorbent for us.

    I have the soakers and I washed them with her clothes (when brand new) and then with her diapers - totalling 4 loads.  They worked perfect.  Like PP said, I wouldn't boil as that will hurt the PUL so to speak.
