I keep seeing repetitive up and down motions on my belly that go on for several minutes at a time... I know that babies practice breathing motions in the womb - I've seen it on my u/s before with this baby and with my girls. I THINK that's what I'm seeing from the outside now. I think it happens too long and at too precise an interval to be anything else... Anyone seeing this with their LO? FWIW, my baby is measuring 41.5w, so he's a biggie and I know he's running out of room so maybe that's his little back being squished up against me that I see moving...
Re: Watching breathing motions of the baby?
Yep, that's exactly what it is. I asked my OB this at my last appt and she said it was the baby practice breathing. I usually have pregnant brain as well but I made sure not to forget to ask (I put a reminder in my phone that pops up when I'm at my appts) that question as I was a bit concerned. So happy our LO's are doing what they need to do to get ready for the outside world. Such a blessing!
