So - finally made it to Kiddie Crusoe! It was a bit of a hike for us, but definitely fun! They have 6 different moon bounces, huge wooden play structure and lots of pretend play rooms. There's a small toddler play structure too. I wish they had one or two age restricted moon bounces, but oh well. Excellent choice for a cold or rainy day for the winter.
Re: Kiddie Crusoe
I'm glad you liked it.
I've heard awful reviews about it on the baltimoremommies.com forum I'm on. Lots of people having trouble with the owner and the kids that work there. I think it's a great idea even though my LO is too young but I had heard bad things.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
Someone's getting a little brother!
I certainly wasn't impressed w/ the customer service or anything, but I really wasn't expecting much and there isn't much help required. Everything was clean and in good condition. There's a similar place here in Columbia, but its just beat up and dirty, so I haven't been there in over a year.
I don't think KC is worth going w/ a kid under 2. DD is almost 3 and she could use most of the equipment, but required a lot of supervision and I worry about her getting knocked around by the older kids. I think the ideal age is probably 3-6.
Glad you had fun. I have to agree that the people that work there did not impress me, and that the bounce room could be a lot more organized. All of the other bounce places we have been to have designated times for little kids or at least some supervision. There was no one there to tell kids to follow the rules and it was not the greatest place for little kids IMO. The couple of times we were there, older kids (like 10+) were running wild and being really rough with smaller kids in the bounce area.
The first two rooms with the toys/little buildings, and the swings and things were fun though and much better for little ones. DS loves the little plastic roller coaster things.
