Re: IVF gals - Drug pricing?

  • I do!!  I did a lot of research, but it was last summer.

PM me your email address, if you'd like it.

ETA:  If you PM me, please let me know so I go check it.  Are you on FB?

  • Meds are a lot cheaper at the UW clinic (like 10 times cheaper). We spent about $700 on meds for our IVF cycle. You do have to go through them though since the UW pharmacy is only open to UW providers, so if you already have an RE you like it's probably not a great option. I have the price list if you are interested though, let me know.

  • I'm actually out of town for another week, so don't have the list in front of me, but in case you want some numbers for comparison, this is my best recall of the meds at UW:

    Gonal-F 900 unit pen $80 (at 300 units/day I used 3 pens)

    Luveris $25 per vial (75 units/day, I used 10)

    Novarel trigger maybe $50?

Lupron $120 (it's a 14 day kit, but since you use lower doses, I only needed one kit)

Crinone $120 for 2 week supply

Everything else was cheap or covered by insurance. Let me know if you want any more info about UW. It's a small clinic, but I've been really happy with them.
