I'm take an oral dose of progesterone, once a day. Today the doctor called with results from my blood work and told me to double my dose (my levels are still too low).
Which leads me to my question--
In another recent post about progesterone, people referred to different types of progesterone. I'm wondering, is one type (oral, vaginnal, or shot) more effective than another or is it just personal preference?
Re: Follow up question about progesterone---
I'm not an expert but I really feel it's up to your doctor's discretion. From what I've seen it seems like people generally start on oral or suppository and go to the shot from there if needed.
The best thing to do is probably ask your doctor. Good luck to you!!
