Help me brainstorm b-day party ideas

Since money is tight, I'm trying to think of something low key, but still fun for Alyssa next month. Luckily she loved the idea of having something small at the house with just a few of her best girl friends. We decided to do a Cupcake party, so the main activity will be the girls decorating their cupcakes and then eating them. The party will be from 2-4 so it will just be snacky type foods and some finger foods for whatever parents decided to stay. She told me she wants pink and black decorations and wants her guests to wear their pj's LOL So, any ideas? Decor? Games? Anything? Thanks!

Re: Help me brainstorm b-day party ideas

  • DD had a diva party and the supplies and everything came with it (I have a point), it was hot pink and zebra print and make a cute decor.

At most parties, no games are needed.  The kids just love playing with other peoples toys.

  • If she wants to watch a movie, you can have the girls bring their own pillows and decorate pillowcases. You would just need some pillowcases and fabric markers.
  • Since she wants them to wear pj's, do a non-sleepover sleep over with manicures, dancing, cupcakes, and reading a "bedtime" story like Fancy Nancy?
