If ingrediant list says "dark chocolate chips (chocolate, cane sugar, lecithin, vanilla), do I need to be concerned that the chocolate referenced could contain milk or that the lecithin is soy lecithin? Is there any other type of lecithin?
I agree, i would call the company to confirm. I would think it's safe, but would not try it on a child with allergies. Better be safe than sorry and call.
That's an interesting question. I know that by law, if milk or wheat is an ingredient, it has to be seperately listed. But if it's an ingredient of an ingredient? I don't know. I have to look for wheat and it's always the "hidden ingredients" that I worry about!
