Stripping fail -- help please!

One part of the FB Web site said to strip using 1/4 of the amount of rec. Oxi clean. Did that. Dry now, still repelling (water droplets just sit on the fleece). Found another area of the site that says to do 4-5 scoops of oxi. Wtf?!? Any advice???

  • Have you tried to use 1/8 cup of blue dawn and some super hot water? Let them soak for an hour + then wash. Then rinse a million or so times or until no more bubbles, then check the repelling again..

  • We had to use Rock N Green to get ours to stop repelling but we also have hard water.

  • Are you sure that they're truly repelling? I ask b/c just putting water on them isn't enough - they also need pressure. Also, is your water super-hard? That can also cause repelling issues but you'd use Calgon and a slightly different process to strip.
