What are some fun group games?

We always have a family dinner/gathering on Christmas Day.  The "tradition" is that all of the adults gather around and play Taboo (men vs women).

Since I live closer now, I've been tasked with planning things.  I would like to think of a different game to play that can be equally as fun.

Any suggestions.

Cranium is fine and you could do teams.  I like Scatergories a lot too.

Pictionary with a big easel would be good.
