I've scored 20 great diapers in their most recent used diaper 'sale'. I didn't need any of them, so it looks like the babysitter (aka, my sister) will have a whole secondary stash at her home.
I've received:
4 well-loved 3.0 velcro diapers. They look great and will probably straight into the stash. Only one has the front velcro strip detaching, which is usually the problems with the used (which sucks because it cant really be easily fixed).
Then, they posted the last chance at 12 for $24, which I HAD to buy. These were a HUGE score, they look great. The elastic on them could use changing, and a few have crappy velcro. But, they are all easily fixable, and NONE have the detaching front strip. The pilling is kinda bad on a few, but that doesn't affect performance and is easily fixed with shaving with a scissors. I honestly think they were last chance because they reeked like potpourri. They seriously still smell after a bleach washing.
And, of course, I HAD to get the 4 for $20 well loved since they were in snap. They are in perfect condition. The elastic is tight, no pilling. One had a stain that already washed out.
And, to top it all off, I still have a TON of inserts from my Kawaiis since they come with 2 regular inserts/diaper, so the only thing to buy for them is a few refresher kits.
Total Price=$64.00! All but $20 was bought with paypal from selling diapers.
Re: omg, I love cottonbabies
NICE!!!
I know you were a bit iffy about buying so many, glad you are happy!
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..."
I agree! I love their well loved and last chance stuff!
With twins in CD's at daycare, we quickly found ourselves dredding stuffing 25 pockets every other day so I bought the sized AIO's for $5 a piece. For $150 we can have diapers that have less user error at DC and are much easier to just fold at night! I wish we'd have gone the sized AIO path at the beginning. My stash is out of control now!
