Are they safe? Finding most info says yes, but some people out there say the herbs in it are not safe. What do you take for a sore or scratchy throat? I will probably call my doctor tomorrow to check....
I've been using Halls Vitamin C drops. They're not cough drops but they help soothe your throat and give you a boost of Vitamin C which can never hurt. Plus they're pretty yummy!
I had a cold a few weeks back and my hubby came home with these. I used one out of desperation and then went to the pharmacy the next day to ask the pharmacist. One of the herbs in them can cause contractions so my pharmacists said she wouldn't recommend them but that there probably wasnt enough of that herb in them to cause contractions. I went with Luden's and Halls which she said had no contraindications for pregnancy.
my dr. gave me a sheet of medicine i was allowed to take, and cough drops were not mentioned either way.
i had a bad cold a few weeks ago with a terrible scratchy throat, and ricola were the only thing that helped. as long as you're not eating them all day every day i'm sure it's fine.
what's wrong with menthol?
