I'm looking at making barley baby food and wondering a few things...
If I throw it in the food processor, will I still need to cook it for 10 minutes before it's soft enough to serve? Will I be able to put it in with some veggies and water and mix it up right away? If it's broken down into smaller pieces will it still need a big cook time?
I'm thinking it would be really nice to puree a big batch and then spoon a little out, microwave with some water, add a fruit or veggie and then serve! Is this possible?

Oh bummer, I'm sorry. We skipped cereal and even today I only give her a little oatmeal here and there. I'm super picky about carbs. Wish I could help.
If you check www.wholesomebabyfood.com they do have some info on it though. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.
