1st Trimester

Those who have 2 or more kids, and had their gallbladder removed

I had two pregnancies with my gallbladder in and they were bad. I had attacks from small stones and what they called sludge. I controlled them better the second time, but I could barely eat. I was sick with both children, the first til 10 wks the second til 16 wks and was BAD.

I had my GB removed in June and wonder what (if any) differences this pregnancy will bring (besides no pain from my attacks!! woohoo)

So if you had a pregnancy with your GB in and had it removed and are pg again, has your m/s all days sickness been worse, better, the same? have you felt any phantom GB pains? any digestive issues? just curious! Thanks

  • I have no input on your question/problem other than good luck but I just wanted to say congrats! I remember you from when I was PG with Brynn and now we're due on the same day with #3 =)

I know! I saw you post the other day on June moms, so funny! Our kids are almost all the same ages.  Congrats to you as well!

  • I had my gallbladder out 2 weeks after I had DD1 and had both the gallbladder symptoms and horrific ms throughout my pregnancy. With DD2, no phantom pains or digestive issues, but the ms was still just as awful!
