so...i'm at a total loss.  i was supposed to get my period at the beginning of this month...never got it.  took a test maybe a week after my period was due, and then another one a week after that...negative.  with my first pregnancy i didn't get a positive until i was 5 weeks along and then lost the baby at 10 weeks.  anyways, i plan on taking another test tonight or tomorrow, whenever i manage to get to the store...but just these past few days i've been so moody.  i'm probably the worst person to live with.  i've been getting so upset with my husband over things and idk if i have a good reason or not!  all i'm doing is crying.  i feel so moody...but i don't feel pregnant...with my first pregnancy i had morning sickness like you wouldn't believe...and i don't feel sick...i'm just moody.  idk if i just am skipping my period and am moody as hell....or if i'm going crazy.  is there any way that i take longer to get enough of the pregnancy hormone to show on my tests?  because of my first pregnancy??  i have no idea what to do.  we're in the middle of switching insurances and i really don't want to waste my time paying for a dr. visit in full when i might not even be pregnant.  i feel so helpless!

Do you chart so you actually know your period was due last week? Or are you just guessing?

if your period was "due" (and I use that loosely here) the beginning of the month - you'd already be 7 weeks along now.

I am betting you ovulated much much later than you thought, or you are having an annovulatory cycle

You are probably moody due to all this weighing on your mind.

I don't keep major track of my period...we aren't very seriously ttc.  we've beem ttc, but are more in the element of suprise as in it will happen when it happens.  it's been over a year since my last miscarriage, i've had 2.  if i'm not pregnant by my yearly appt in december then i'm definitely checking up on things. I should have ovulated around the 23 of September though and then was expecting my period on Oct 1ish
