This is my top contender if LO #2 is a girl. Brutal honesty welcome.

Big sister is Claire I'm barely pregnant but considering that we couldn't decide on a name for Claire until about two hours before we were discharged from the hospital, I need to start early. I've had this name in mind for a long time. 

I've always loved Sophie, but I'm getting bummed at how popular it's getting. It's about #40 in our state. Middle name is after late MIL.  

Other names we like

1.Catherine Elizabeth (Cate) -- but seems to matchy with Claire. 

2. Olivia Louise (but probably won't use because of  how popular Olivia is. Louise is late grandmother's name.) 

And the dark horse contender we love but probably don't have the guts to use.

3. Clementine Louise

Sophie Elisabeth is very pretty - - and I much prefer the "s" to the "z".

Love Catherine as well!

Oh Clementine Louise is a million, billion times better than your other choices.  Please, please, please choose it.  My dd asks for a playdate with "Sophie" and it takes almost a minute of back and forth to figure out which one she is talking about (not including the time it takes to clarify whether she means Sophia or Sophie).

Thanks Juniper. Sophie and Sophia aren't as popular yet here in the Deep South as they have been in other areas -- but I do fear they are catching up.

I like all of your names!  I wouldn't use Sophie or Olivia personally due to popularity (I know I know I have a Jackson but named him 6yr ago and doesn't bother me so much for boys for some reason    LOVE the Elisabeth spelling      Catherine is DD mn and really love Cate.   Clementine is adorable but not sure if I would have guts either-- if DH loved it as much as me than I probably would.    Louise sounds great with it

I think Clementine is so much better than your other names.

That said though,if I had to pick I would definitely pick Sophie over Sophia,and over Olivia ANY day.I think Sophie Elisabeth is pretty and flows well.

What about Elizabeth Louise?  I think Lizzy Lou would be a cute NN.

I like your first choice.  The S in Sophie goes well with the S in the middle name, rather than the Z.
