I have had a headache for a week

It started the thursday before last.  It is killing me.  Nothing has helped.  I've seen the eye doctor, regular dr, and chiropractor.  Dr gave me a shot of solumedrol.  Nothing.  Now they want me to take topamax.  That would great except that we tried to get pregnant before the headache came on.  Any ideas?

    How awful!  I've never tried it but I have a friend who swears by acupuncture.  Maybe worth a shot....

    I agree with the pp. I had one of the worst migraines I had ever had once and already had my regular acupuncture appt for a chronic back problem. She put one needle above my eye that hurt and two at the base of my neck. It was amazing...I walked out of there with no headache. The only other times that had happened had been when I went to the ER for migraines and then you're loopy afterward. I really hope yours goes away, they are no fun at all. Best of luck to you.
