I've never heard this name, so when I read it, I pronounce "Adelyn" with a soft A and "Adalyn" with a hard A. Not sure which you prefer, so that's my reaction as someone who might read baby's name on the first day of class someday:)
But I am one of "those people" that prefers traditional spellings.

I'm not voting as I got ripped to shreds for having an unfavorable opinion about this name and spelling just a couple of weeks ago. It seems it's okay not to like this variation this week though. Go figure.

Adalyn = AY-da-lyn
...pronunciation as I would read it.
