Vent: scheduling DH's surgery

DH had his surgery consult for his umbilical hernia last week.  He's called them every day since Thursday & left a message to get a date for it since I need to know when it is to request it off as he'll be knocked out for it.  Seriously, how hard is it to call back with an appt?  I have a feeling it won't be soon & with the recovery time he was told (4-6 weeks) that means we're going to have to put off IVF til after the holidays.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.
