What do you guys think of this name? Do you think classy and sophisticated or otherwise? Wanting to get a sense of general feelings towards the name.

I know a Zara.  She's my hair stylist & she's from Iran.  I like her name, but unless I was Arabic I wouldn't use it.

I like it. It's a very international name. It makes me think of the store. Very fond memories of Spain.

I think of Zara Phillips, the queen's granddaughter.  There's a store named Zara?

Love it. I think it is both classy and sophisticated.

LOVE the name.  It was a top choice for both of my daughters.  This board (at the time) hated it.  The only issue I had was with the pronunciation; some say w/ a short vowel a sound and some use the long a sound.  Personally, I love the long A rhymes w/ Sara and didn't want DD to correct ppl her whole life.

I really like the name Zara, but the store would probably prevent me personally from using it.  I also think of Zara Phillips, like PP said.

I used to dislike this name when I was younger but now I have grown to love it!  I think its only cause I knew a Dara I couldn't stand and it was too similar!
