RE: Follow-up appt

Well, we went to the allergist today and he tested positive for milk, oat and a slight peanut allergy. The dr said that the peanut might be due to having a soy allergy in the past. But, we are going to get a blood test to see if he outgrew the soy as well as confirm/deny the peanut allergy. He wants to possibly move him to soy milk but I prefer he stays on the Neocate especially since he moved from the 50% weight percentile to the 25% weight percentile. I just ordered the Neocate Jr since he is now about to be a yr old. Smile Let's hope the blood test shows false positive skin tests!!!!

    hopefully you get some good news with the RAST test!  good call on keeping him on Neocate Jr. --especially since he's use to the taste. it would be so much harder if you had to put him back on it after taking it out of his diet.
