wee-sale PG county this weekend

I know College Park is far from Baltimore, but I thought I'd pass the info along. There will be an All Season consignment sale, Wee-Sale at the Armory in College Park this weekend. It is the first one they are holding in PG county. It is at the corner of 295 (B/W Pkwy) and 193.

    Are you going? I'm trying to decide if I want to go bright and early for better selection or if I want to wait until the 50% off time. (Even though I know the volunteers and consigners get the BEST stuff.)

    I'm not going because I'll be out of town all weekend, but I do have a load of stuff I'm trying to sell there. And, I've never actually been to a consignment sale, so I don't really know what the best plan of action is.

    The advise to sellers though, was that most things sell on the 1/2 price day.

    The sale is actually in Greenbelt at the armory, but depending on where you are coming from it could be bad. 

    I know the first day of these sales are usually PACKED. I haven't had a chance to go and look at the 1/2 off days.  This is the first time for the sale in PG county so it could be hit or miss in terms of organization and inventory. Its a pretty established, well run sale in Annapolis. If the public sale was going to be on Friday I'd be hitting it up.

    Other insider information, for what it is worth... almost all the time slots for drop off are full for tomorrow.

    The e-mail consigners got last night said this is the largest sale for a 1st time at a location. I honestly don't know how long wee-sale has been operating, but they said the amount of items entered in the system is greater than the amount for the 3rd Annapolis sale.

    So, it sounds like it'll be worthwhile if you go.
