Multiples

Did your OB put you on tons of vitamins/minerals?

At the high-risk doc last week, she told me to take extra Vit D, extra iron, and extra folic acid -- on top of the prenatal and DHA supplement my OB told me to take.  But NOT to double up on my prenatal b/c of the other vitamins we DON'T want more of.

So all-in-all I take 5 pills a day.  Plus two gummies b/c when faced w/ buying another bottle of pills or a calcium/vit d gummie, I chose the gummies.

  • I took my PNV and Iron supplement.  Later in the pg I was put on Procardia but obviously that's not a vitamin.

  • My OB thought the prenatal and extra iron (because I was slightly anemic) was enough but the MFM said prenatal, iron, folic acid, calcium, and magnesium.
