Baby Names

Ers?

Hi gals, DH and I were tossing names around for fun (I know, we're barely ttc but we can't help it! Big Smile) and I was wondering your opinions on something. I love the name Carter Quinn or Carter Reid. Here's our stumble: our last name ends with 'er' like Carter does. Is this too much er? Awkward? TIA for your opinions!

  • Something like Carter Fisher doesn't sound bad, but Carter Barter = no
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.

My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

  • That's a good one too! Carsonis definitely an option--thanks!

  • Our last name ends in -er as well, and that's eliminated all -er first names for me. My name is Jennifer and it does sound a little harsh (though not enough to keep me from taking my husband's name, lol).
