does anyone know if it's okay to chew sugarless gum while pregnant? ?i've read mixed reviews online and since it will be awhile before my first doctor's appointment i was wondering if anyone here knew.

Not sure if it's ok or not, but I chew gum a lot. Plus, my dr. told me that anything (within reason) is ok as long as it's not excessive.

I think it's fine in moderation. I have to chew it b/c it's been the only thing that helps me feel less nauseous from the excess saliva.
