Can anyone clarify exactly how new mothers are paid during maternity leave?
I am under the impression that the Short Term Disability of the FMLA act is how you get paid, though I know it varies state to state.
IF I have short term disability through my health insurance at work, do I get paid that way as well?
From what I've been told by HR, the payout is only $170, and it's through the FMLA act so I'm not sure my company covers Short Term.
Can anyone help make sense of this?
