in the greater bay area, where would you go?  (Not French Laundry, can't quite afford that!)  DH & I may be making some changes, and are thinking of splurging on one fancy date night.  I would love suggestions!  Thanks!

DH took me to Station 1 in Portola Valley for Christmas. It was delicious and fantastic. It's a prix fixe menu (somewhere around $50/person before drinks) and includes an appetizer, main and dessert with palate cleansers between meals.

My favorite "fancy" places are The Girl and the Fig in Sonoma and Lalime's in Berkeley.  Oliveto in Oakland is also good.
